LOVE OR TRUST!!

Many a times, this idea pops up in mind, "Which one is more important?" Is it Love or Trust? I know it's quite perplexing.. We tend to think at times that if love is there, naturally trust will be there OR if trust is there then love will also come into picture. But as far as I know, it's not that simple!

In life, you tend to trust someone and love someone else. Cause, Love is something which you do with eyes closed. If you love someone you may tend to forget his/her flip side. You can surely love a person whom you don't trust. Love may come out of caprice or fancy. So, it's not always that you trust that person you are in love with!!!

Love is like a desire. The desire of Heaven OR The desire of Hell; The desire for a sweet or for a cigarette; The desire to fall or to rise.. When you are in love you tend to forget the rights and the wrongs, the LOGICS.. But somewhere in the back of your mind you know the truth. You know what is right and what is wrong. You know whether the person you are in love with is good or bad. You know what is between your fingers, whether it's cigarette or sweet. Moreover, if it's a cigarette, you even know that it's injurious to your health. But alas! you love it! :)

So, when you say that you love me, I know that you never meant that I am the best; I know that you never meant that you could close your eyes while sitting by my side; I know that by saying I love you, you never meant that I am everything for you; You have not given me the authority to think about you; When you say that you love me, it simply means that You are crazy about me; that you damn care for who I am or what I am; When you say that you love me, it's your selfishness; the game is all yours; ball never comes to my court.. Or say, you may not be sure that I know the game.. In nutshell, when you say that you love me, it's your quality and in no way it's a hallmark of my Quality character! Love is about you, it's not about me!


Now, Trust is just The Opposite.. When you say that you trust me, I know that I am the captain in the ground.. That I am the one who will decide the fate of the game.. That I am certainly the best, at least by your thoughts.. Now, it's a hallmark of my Quality character. It's about me! When you say that you trust me, I know that you know that what I will do will be the best for you.. Isn't it more exciting!! In social terms, they call it the 'Best Friend'. And best friend need not be your Lover and in most of the cases it's definitely not! Parents love their child but they don't always trust.

So, when you say that you trust me, I know that I may not be the one whom you love. Cause, it's not always that everyone loves the best.. As I told earlier, one may love cigarette and the other may love sweets. No doubt, I am the sweet, but who knows, may be you love cigarette!!

So, what do I choose? I want to be trusted or loved?
