As you travel on lifes way
With its many ups and downs

One smile is worth a dozen frowns.

Among the worlds expensive things
A smile is very cheap
And when you give a smile away,
You get one back to keep.

Happiness comes at times to all
But sadness comes unbidden
And sometimes a few tears must fall
Among the laughter hidden.

So when friends have sadness on their face
And troubles round them piled
The world will seem a better place
And all because you smiled.

To be honest with you,
I do not have the words to make you feel better -

But I do have arms to give you a hug -
I have ears to listen to anything
you want to talk about -

I have eyes to see the pain you are going through -
I have feet, to walk to you
the minute you need me -

And I have a heart -
a heart that is aching to see you smile again.

Today was a strangely numbing day. The day didn't start so well but became better as time passed. Hope's creeping up on me and I'm waiting for it to take over. I hate to feel pessimistic or depressed. The last few days were depressing indeed. I 've Read so many blog posts..Anyway, forget it.

I happened to talk to a couple of friends today. When life seems crazy, friends are my sanctuary. Sami called and it was great talking to her. She's more like a sister, and the very thought of me being able to share almost anything with her comforts me. I've met so many people in my life, she stands out as the one here to stay. See, I've been with people who call themselves a friend but leave for different reasons. You know you've found a friend for life when you can share everythig with them, despite all the differences and all the bitchy fights you got into. You never lose respect with them. God has been kind to me, in every possible way. He's been hearing my prayers even when I was bad... 'am' bad. Heard me when I said I need a friend. I have Sami beside me for years now. Just that I wasn't looking. She was there when all the rest stepped out of the picture. That's why I love her so much. She's genuine. ma best Sibling..

It's weekend already. Time flies, doesn't it? Do you have any special plans for the weekend?
